Colorado congressman calls movie theater shooter ‘a psychotic son of a bitch'
Colorado Democratic Rep. Ed Perlmutter, who represents the district where 12 people were killed Friday in a shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado, called the suspect "a psychotic son of a bitch."
Perlmutter said he was in Washington, D.C. at the time of the shooting and heard the news through and alert from the White House.
"I got an alert about an hour ago from the White House that this had occurred," Perlmutter said, according to a recording of a radio interview with 850 KOA News Radio. "We finished voting late last night, and then to have a psychotic son of a bitch do something like this...sorry for the cussing, you know, it's just boggling to my mind."
"It was diabolic," he added.
